Yzerfontein Doubles Tennis Tournament

We recently hosted extremely enjoyable tournaments for seniors and juniors on the 16th and 17th of December. The senior games and finals were truly riveting—as exciting as Wimbledon! The level of play was outstanding, and the junior division was also a great success. It was a knockout format with a back-draw, ensuring all participants played at least two enjoyable matches. We built a small pavilion especially for the event, and even had boerewors and rolls available at the courts! We wish you could have all joined us.

The positive feedback and requests from the players and the chairman of West Coast Tennis have moved us to host another event! We are hosting a Doubles and Mixed Tournament on 31st December and are inviting the entire district. It’s the holiday season, so let's fill your break with some challenging and enjoyable tennis in the rural West Coast. Come and join us!

The tournament is open to all players, from juniors to veterans. We will allocate players to appropriate groups and skill levels, as far as possible, either prior to or on the day of the tournament. You may enter with a partner, or find one on the day. Depending on the number of entries, the contest format may be lengthened or shortened

Contingency: Should you wish to play on those days but not participate in the tournament, courts will be available early until 8:00 AM. Better yet, join the fun!

Gear & Grub: Cold drinks, snacks, and boerewors rolls will be available for purchase at the courts.
